How To Warm Up The Back Muscles

Training the back can be done through training multiple movement patterns including:

— Hinging

— Horizontal Pulling

— Vertical Pulling

These movement patterns will be warmed up using specific exercises. When you are warming up, try and warm up the movement pattern you plan on using rather than just the muscle group. Warming up for the hinge movement will be very different to warming up the vertical pull movement pattern yet they both use the back muscles as prime movers.
